The implementation deadline for the project “CSA-CycleSeeing Attractour”, co-financed by the Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia 2014-2020. from the European Regional Development Fund, has been extended to 31 July 2022. The extension of the project period was due to the pandemic caused by the COVID 19 virus, which caused delays in all segments as well as in the procurement and delivery of construction materials, but also the execution of works. Accordingly, certain activities planned in the project will be carried out in parallel with the completion of the construction of attractions.

Work on the Bike Info Center with a lookout is progressing and is slowly coming to an end. The opening of the BIC with a lookout is expected in July, and then visitors will be able to visit the center itself, for which there is already great interest.

As part of the project, all partners presented themselves together at the 6th International Fair for Outdoor Activities and Vacation in Gornja Radgona. The fair lasted for three days and the exhibition space was very well visited and there was a great interest of visitors for the cycling offer of destinations, but also for the project in general.

The web application, which is already available on the website, has been completed. The web application provides information on the entire offer of Štrigova and Nagykanizsa destinations, and contains an ecological footprint test. As part of that test, you find out if you are environmentally aware. At the very end of the test you are given the opportunity to participate in a photo contest by uploading photos of the natural or cultural heritage of Štrigova and Nagykanizsa in the application, and at the end of the year the best photos of both areas will be selected and awarded.

We expect to complete the purchase of the equipment by the end of June. Furthermore, signposts will be set up, as well as workshops for children and tourism professionals will be held in Štrigova and Nagykanizsa after the attractions are completed.
